RAIN RAIN GO AWAY ! ! ! ! ! ! !
RAIN RAIN GO AWAY ! ! ! ! ! ! ! 
Well this is the picture of the sky while we were at the boat today. We had alot of rain and needless to say tomorrow it suppose to rain with thunderstorms all day too. Well Tom is laughing so hard and he keeps asking me " when do you go to your moms"! He told me that when I leave that will be the day that the sun will start shinning and I will take the rain clouds down there. He also told me that I should "warn" all of you that there is a dark cloud that follows me wherever I go ! ( dont tell him I said this but I think it is him)
We even watched the weather network tonight and on my next two days off that I have before Deb and I go to moms it suppose to rain both days too.
Oh by the way this is my weekend off !

Thursday May 22
Well Tom and I went to the boat today because it is my night off this week and we were surprised with how chilly it was. The sky was beautiful but the wind made it kind of cool. So we had two heaters on the boat going on high and we were enjoying the peace and quiet. Then we cleaned the windows on the boat and took a nap!
And that was our day!

Sunday May 18th
DINNER WITH BRAD AND PAIGE
We had a wonderful sunday dinner with Brad and Paige. We had chicken, mashed potatos, rutabega, gravy and stuffing.
Tom and I enjoyed having them over for supper.
And Tom got to tell Brad and Paige how he got" banned" from Home Depot!
That is another story all to itself !............. Dont ask !

My 2nd Quilt Lap Blanket
OH MY GOSH !
Where was my mother when I needed her ? I had such a hard time doing the binding on this lap blanket. I had to take it apart about 3 times.(and i remember how much joy she has riping out seams.) So needless to say around 2 am this morning i just put the last pin in the binding to try it again and I went to bed and I figured that if i had to rip it out today I would throw the thing in the trash. Or cut it up for dusting cloths.
But Thank Goodness ...... it finally turned out and it is finished !
Now Tom wants me to work on a couple of table cloths for the boat ! My work is never done!
He at least is giving me enough time to finish them ...... HE said ........" you wont get the table cloths done till christmas ! I told him probaly NOT !

Monday May 12 th
Another Day at the Lake
Well Tom and I went up to the lake to make sure that everything was okay. And needless to say last week Tom went up to the lake to install a new toilet that he bought for the boat and he just had to show me what he did. So I did the " wifey " thing and OOOO'd and AAAA'd his great workmanship! He even wanted me to sit on it to see what I thought ! ( okay quit laughing)
The weather was not too great. Only 60 degrees and cloudy and needless to say I was cold. I told him that we should of waited till tomorrow because it suppose to get to 70 degrees and sunny. But he just could not wait another day for me to see the toilet!
I am so proud !
