CHRISTMAS EVE WITH BRAD AND PAIGE

We had such a wonderful Christmas Eve ..... Tom made a BIG pot of spaghetti sauce and we all enjoyed it and then we opened gifts.
I think Brad and Paige were happy with all that they got from Tom and I. I was very happy.

MORE SNOW !

Well needless to say we have gotten about 8 more inches of snow overnight and I knew it was coming and I got so upset with Tom because he did not take me to work last night. So I told the girls at work that I was hoping that he would be asleep when I got home so I can slam the doors and wake him up. I made it home safe (the roads were awful and they did not plow or salt yet) and I got home around 730am and when I got home he was so proud of me and told me that I did good and he knew that I could do it ...... well I told him with a straight face .... I GOT A RIDE HOME AND HE HAS TO GO GET THE CAR LATER ...... he got so mad and you should of seen his face ( it was priceless) he said WHHHAAATTTT ! I told him that I was kidding and that is what he deserved for making me drive in that weather !
LMAO !

OH THE WEATHER OUTSIDE IS FRIGHTFULL !

Well it has been an awful week ..... I had a bad sinus cold and needless to say it went right to my chest and I have had a bad case of bronchitis and trying to get over it is not that easy.
We are having this snow storm today ..... and needless to say I have to work the whole weekend so my "chauffeur" is going to drive me to work tonight ( thank goodness)

TO MY WONDERFUL FAMILY

HAPPY THANKSGIVING ......To the most wonderful family ..... I just wish that I could be with you all at this time of year and to be able to sit at the dinner table eating all the wonderful food that you all make for the holidays.
But I will be there in spirit with each and everyone of you. Plus I will be doing my yearly thing and watching the parades on TV.
I love each and everyone of you and I miss you all more and more each day.

Well THE SAGA CONTINUES !

Well we are having to find a new Marina for next year. Needless to say on saturday Tom went to the marina to talk to the owner about moving our boat from where they have stored it and well needless to say they got into it so now we are kicked out of the marina.

So this winter we are going to have to find a new marina !

My New Items

YES ! Another new purse .... but I could not pass up this one and I just fell in love with the color of it. It is really different for me ! The bracelet is a gift from one of the girls that went on holiday and she brought it back to me fro the dominican.
It is so pretty but I do not like to wear it at work. I just dont want it to get broken.

Toms Car has a make over

Well needless to say Tom has given his car a new look. He even has hub caps that spin. Mr Hot ROD !

Here is the "NEW FAMILY" Tom has adopted !

Well Tom seen these kittens and the mom cat around this wooded area and he decided he was going to adopt them and start feeding them. He even made them this house so they would stay warm and dry in the winter.

OMG ! ! Has "Ruby" moved to Ontario

Well I did dye my hair the other day. Which it did not turn out all that bad and it was easy enough. But then I went yesterday to get my haircut and the stupid lady cut it so bad. I have bangs like George had when she cut them herself that one time. ( Remember George?)
Well all I can say is that thank goodness dad shaves his hair into a crew cut almost or I know as soon as he would see my haircut he would have to get the same style!

Lets all pray that it grows fast or I may just have to have a haircut like Toms ! You know BALD IS BEAUTIFUL !

WE ARE GOING TO THE BOAT ON SATURDAY ! ! ! ! !

YES ! Tom made it back home. And yes the stories keep getting longer and longer every time I hear them. But again THANK GOODNESS I was lucky enough to be working! ( did I say that ??? )

Well seriously .... we are going to the boat but if I dont add anything on here by monday .... call the coast guard ! PLEASE ! How long did it take for the Titanic to sink ??????

Well the Saga Continues !

Well I just got done talking to Tom .... It is 2pm on Monday and He is not a happy camper. He is still on lake Simcoe and he said it is going to be about a couple more hours till he gets home. He said " I AM NEVER GOING TO DO THIS AGAIN ! " He told me it has cost him 300 dollars for gas for the boat. And " I did not enjoy myself at all this weekend" . Just between you and me ...... I will be hearing about this for awhile ! ! !
Do any of you know someone that wants to buy a boat !

Toms Adventure on the High Seas ?????

Well Sunday was a day to remember for Tom .... I called him early in the morning around 10 am ...after I got home from work to see how he was doing. And he told me all about his troubles ..... he froze to death cause it was so cold spending the night in the middle of lake Simcoe. The anchor did not catch so he drifted all night ... " I dont know where the hell I am " Then he said " I am totally out of gas" ! The fog is coming in and he called his son Tommy to bring him some gas and that was around 7 am and needless to say Tom said " he wont be able to find me in this fog ! So I told Tom to use the big flash light that has about 1,000 watts on it and he said " the battery is dead on it too"
So at 3pm He called me and told me that he was in the dock .... in Orilla and that Tommy came about 1pm with the gas. He said " I dont think this was a good idea! He said he will be home on monday ! For sure !

But like I told the girls at work ..... Thank goodness I had to work !!!!!!

AND HOW WAS YOUR DAY ?????

Well needless to say I saw this and I just had to get it. It was only 2 dollars so I thought I could handle the price. Oh so what .... I will not be able to put a liter of gas in my car. Maybe next payday !

Tom is on the boat. He went yesterday and I called him last night before I left for work and he told me that he is going to have to " drop anchor " because it was too dark and he could not see where he was going. All I have to say is .... thank goodness I was here at home!

Some New Decorating we have done !

Well needless to say we got rid of the bed in the spare bedroom and I was so excited because I thought I would get me a sewing room. Well I have a "family room"....."sewing room" in one. It looks good !
Tom and I went to the thrift store and found this furniture and we just had to get it. But the funny thing was he asked me " what are we going to do when your sister comes back up here ..... where are they going to sleep?" I told him on the couch and he said we would have to get a air mattress.

OUR NEIGHBORS 1947 TRUCK

One of our neighbors that live in our building has this truck. And Tom offered the man 50 dollars for the truck. Tom thought it was a good deal since it is a 1947 and it is kind of old. But the man just smiled at Tom.
But to tell you what is going on... the man had it in a car show last saturday and he got 1st place. This saturday he has to take it to the Toronto EX for the car show there and he is wishing that he will at least be one of the top 10 winners but he said that there will be at least 400 others cars there.
But to be honest I hope that he wins. He bought this truck off of his brother that lives in Ohio.
